Secure your family's financial future with affordable term insurance plans that provide high coverage at low premiums.

Understanding Term Insurance

Term insurance is a powerful life security plan designed to protect your family’s financial future, dreams, and responsibilities.

It creates a strong financial backup for your loved ones by providing a large lump-sum amount in case of unexpected life risks during the policy period. This support can help your family continue their lifestyle, repay loans, manage children’s education, meet medical needs, and stay financially independent.

Modern term insurance plans can also be structured with additional benefits such as Return of Premium, critical illness cover, accidental benefit, premium waiver, and income protection options. In selected plans, even if no unfortunate event happens during the policy term, the family may still receive significant returns as per the plan features.

At Insurance Zindagi, we don’t just suggest term insurance based on low premium. We study your income, health history, family responsibilities, legal nominee structure, medical disclosures, and future claim safety — so that your term plan becomes a complete Family Protection Strategy.

Because term insurance is not about fear.

It is about responsibility, love, planning, and protecting your family’s tomorrow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our term insurance plans.

What is term insurance?

Term insurance is a pure protection plan that provides financial security to your family in case of your unfortunate demise during the policy term. It offers high coverage at affordable premiums because it only pays out if the insured person passes away during the policy term.

What happens if I survive the policy term?

In a traditional term insurance policy, if you survive the policy term, you don't get any returns. However, with our Elite Plan's Return of Premium option, you can get all your premiums back if you survive the policy term, making it both a protection and savings plan.

Can I increase my coverage amount later?

Yes, most of our term insurance plans offer the option to increase your coverage at key life stages such as marriage or the birth of a child. You can increase your sum assured by up to 50% at these life events without additional medical tests, subject to certain conditions.

How much term insurance coverage do I need?

The ideal coverage amount should be at least 10 times your annual income. However, you should also consider your liabilities (like home loans), future expenses (like children's education), and inflation. Our insurance advisors can help you calculate the right coverage amount based on your specific circumstances.

What happens if I miss paying a premium?

If you miss a premium payment, you typically get a grace period of 15-30 days (depending on the payment frequency) to pay the premium. If you fail to pay within the grace period, the policy will lapse. However, you can reinstate a lapsed policy within a specified period by paying the due premiums along with interest, subject to certain conditions.
